Historical decisions define 100 days of Modi government

Hyderabad: Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy on Sunday said the BJP government headed by Prime Miniter Narendra Modi had taken historical decisions during the past 100 days.
Addressing the media here, he said the Centre had resolved the burning issue of Article 370 troubling the country for the last seven decades to bring peace to Jammu and Kashmir. It was a promise made to the people for which the BJP had got their support. "We have delivered on our electoral promise," he added.
That apart, the 100 days of Modi's government also streamlined social, economic, trade, and other sectors. Besides strengthening the bilateral relations with other countries, Modi had taken decisive steps on issues relating to national security to defeat the designs of Pakistan to encourage cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, he said.
Kishan Reddy said the NDA government has been ensuring development, welfare, economy, national security and other issues in a balanced manner. The government is also taking corrective measures whenever there are shortcomings, he said.
He appealed to the people of Telangana State to support the BJP in the State and the programmes of Modi.
