HRPCI felicitates women achievers
uman Rights Protection Council of India (HRPCI) organised ‘International Women’s Day’ celebrations here on Wednesday.
Basheerbagh: Human Rights Protection Council of India (HRPCI) organised 'International Women's Day' celebrations here on Wednesday.
Malathi Latha, chairperson of women's department of the council, said that on the occasion of International Women's Day the council identified women who have made significant contributions in their respective fields and were felicitated.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that the organisation would continue to strive for protecting the rights of women.
The organisation would fight against the atrocities done against women and would provide necessary legal assistance to victims of injustice, she said.
The organisation would also take necessary measures to raise awareness among women and conduct awareness programs on women rights.
Chairman of different departments Aditya, Srinivas Rao, Jithendra, Kadari Ram Kumar, Hima Bindu and others participated in the celebrations.
Among women who were felicitated include superintendent women jail Basheera Begum, noted dancer Suvarchala Devi, reputed psychologist Jyothi Raja, beauty queen Mrs India Krithika Sharma, Kiranmayi and others.
