Huzurabad by-election on October 30, schedule released

The Central Election Commission (CEC) on Tuesday announced the schedule for Huzurabad by-election, the constituency seat which fell vacant with resignation of former minister Eatala Rajender. The election notification will be released on October 1.
According to the schedule, candidates can file nominations from October 8 and the nominations will be scrutinized on October 11. Candidates can withdraw the nominations on October 13. The election will be held on October 30 and the result will be announced on November 2.
It is known, the ruling TRS party announced the name of Gellu Srinivas Yadav as the candidate for Huzurabad by-election. The by-election is necessitated after the Huzurabad sitting MLA Eatala Rajender resigned on June 12.
