The unfortunate three, who are from Musheerabad, were identified as Divya Avula (34), her husband Raja Gavani (41) and another man by name Premnath Ramanatham (42).

All were pronounced dead on the spot, according to local media reports. According to police a pickup truck hit their car while it was taking a U-turn on Del Webb Boulevard after dropping their daughter at a dance institute.

The police found that at the time of the accident Divya was at the wheel. The pickup's driver suspected to be a juvenile by the local police sustained injuries in the accident.

He was shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment. According to reports, he is out of danger and undergoing treatment. Speaking to The Hans India, Avula Goutham, father of Divya, said they came to know about the accident on Tuesday morning.

He said his daughter who was a BTech and son-in-law MTech were working in Texas as software employees for many years. They were living in Preston city along with their six-year-old daughter.

A pal of gloom descended at his house in Jagadamba Apartments in Gandhinagar after hearing about the accident.

Relatives and friends of the deceased were reaching one by one to console the bereaved family members. Goutham said they are expecting the bodies within three days to Hyderabad.
