In the Disha's encounter case, the police have submitted evidence to the NHRC on Tuesday. The Hyderabad police have reportedly provided enough evidence based on forensic, scientific and human intelligence reports on the rape and murder of the veterinary doctor a couple of weeks back. The CCTV footage of the lorry belongs to the accused, which is tracked in inquiry is also submitted to the NHRC.

The NHRC team has said to be investigating Hyderabad police officers on Tuesday. On the other hand, Commission members have inquired the police who are injured during the encounter. The SIT constituted by the govt had also visited the encounter spot at Chatanpally in Shadnagar to proceed further in the investigation.

The encounter of the accused took place on last Friday while they were reconstructing the crime scene where Disha' abducted, raped and murdered brutally by setting her ablaze. The dead bodies of accused remain at Gandhi hospital mortuary waiting for NHRC's visit.

In the latest developments, a new twist has emerged in the case as the two of the four accused were identified as minors based on their Aadhaar card and bonafide school certificates. It was reported that the accused parents had informed the Human Rights Commission about the ages and demanded an inquiry into the encounter. Accordingly, the date of birth of one of the suspect's is identified to be on August 15, 2002; he was 17 years and six months. While the date of birth of another accused is April 10 2004, which means he is only 15 years and 8 months old. This has raised many doubts on the ages of the accused.

The latest developments seem to have become the headache for the Cyberabad police who have encountered the accused in retaliation.
