Hyderabad: GHMC sexual harassment committee reconstituted
"Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013" enacted by the Centre and the State Women Development and Child Welfare Department, have developed a web portal http://tshebox.tewdcw.in to register complaints with local complaints committee (LCC) and internal complaint committee (ICC).
Hyderabad (NSS): "Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013" enacted by the Centre and the State Women Development and Child Welfare Department, have developed a web portal http://tshebox.tewdcw.in to register complaints with local complaints committee (LCC) and internal complaint committee (ICC).
The ICC has been constituted with eight officers of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) for registering and resolving the sexual harassment complaints at workplace and the same has been registered in the web portal and the email address sheboxghmc@gmail.com has been created for any complaints.
The Committee, after receipt of sexual harassment complaints from women employees, shall register the same and take action for resolving the complaints at workplace as per rules/ Act and to submit the time to time reports to government. All the Additional Commissioners, HoDs, Zonal Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners were asked to inform women employees working under their control regarding the said committee and ensure mail address "sheboxghmc@gmail.com" available for any complaint.
