Miyapur: The managing committee members of the newly formed Mayurinagar Mahila Mandali on Sunday called on Serilingampally MLA and Government Whip Arekapudi Gandhi. Addressing them, he hailed the formation of Mahila Mandali. He pointed out that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was doing much for women's uplift , including taking up many welfare schemes. "The credit for launching many welfare schemes for women's benefit goes to KCR," Gandhi said. The MLA, while assuring the women of his availability at all time to them, stated that they could bring any problem to his notice for finding solution.
Those present on the occasion included Miyapur TRS division president Uppalapati Srikanth, party leaders Madhavaram Gopal, division general secretary Chandrika Prasad Goud, Mayurinagar Mahila Mandali president Subba Lakshmi, general secretary Swathy, treasurer Lakshmi, vice-presidents Shyamala, Supriya, secretaries Aruna, Pushpa, Satyavati, Archana, Bhargavi and Sandhyarani.
