Hyderabad man gets 5 years imprisonment for sexually assaulting daughter

The metropolitan sessions judge court, Cyberabad on Friday imposed five years imprisonment for a man for sexually assaulting his 10-year-old daughter.
According to the police, the victim who lost her mother was residing with her brother and father. Ever since then, the accused sexually assaulted his daughter and threatened to dire consequences if she revealed the matter. Later, the girl left for the relatives' house.
In 2014, the accused call up the girl for Rakhi festival and sexually assaulted her. Fed up with it, the girl shared the matter with her teacher who approached child protection centre.
The police registered a case and recorded the girl's statement. The case came to hearing on Friday and the court imposed five years imprisonment along with a penalty of Rs 5,000.
