Hyderabad: Miscreants murder man at Falaknuma

Hyderabad: Panic triggered after some unidentified persons attacked a man with lethal weapons and killed him at Nawab Sahab Kunta road in Falaknuma on Monday late evening.

According to the police, the man who is yet to be identified was attacked around 10 p.m on the busy road with lethal weapons. The attackers, after ensuring the man had died, escaped from the spot.

On information the police rushed to the spot. Senior officials visited the spot and said special teams are formed to identify and track down the assailants. Sources said some old enmity could be a reason behind the murder.

On the other hand, a 23-year-old man died by suicide at his house in Balanagar on Monday night.

Man identified as Sai Kumar, lived along with his family at Balanagar old village. "On Monday morning, Sai Kumar's mother scolded him over some issue. When she returned home in evening she found him hanging to a ceiling fan in the house. It appears he might have slipped into depression," said Balanagar police.

On information the police reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary. A case is booked and an investigation is underway.

On Monday,a Class 10 student was found hanging in her home in Jammikunta on Monday. She is suspected to have hanged herself to death after getting upset over her parents scolding her for getting less marks.

According to police, Arelli Jagruthi (16) hanged herself from the fan when the family members had gone outside.

She was found dead when family members returned. Jagruthi, a Class 10 student in a private school in Jammikunta town, is said to have resorted to the extreme step after her parents scolded her for a below average performance in the recent pre-final examinations.

Based on a complaint lodged by the family, the police have registered the case and are investigating.
