Jogipet: This is a classic example of utter negligence by the officials. The leakages in drinking water pipelines at Market yard have been left unattended. The precious drinking water has been flowing on the road for 40 days.

District Collector Hanumantha Rao had directed officials to address drinking water issues. But, this negligence in repairing pipelines is causing wastage of the drinking water. On one hand, people are facing water scarcity, and, on the other hand, the water is flowing on the roads due to leakages in pipelines. The officials of Andole-Jogipet have failed to address this issue.

The leaked water stagnated in front of the market yard causing trouble to the farmers who come to sell their produce. Even farmers also complained about the issue, but no one bothered. Locals appeal to authorities to address the issue immediately and save the precious drinking water.
