Nagarkurnool: Former Minister Jupally Krishna Rao rubbished the news of him joining the BJP as fake and baseless. Addressing a press conference in Kollapur on Wednesday Jupally said that there is no truth in the news that is being spread without his knowledge in the media.

"It is unfortunate that some media persons are spreading false news against me. I have never ever thought and will ever think of switching from TRS to BJP. I am fully determined and committed towards developing Kollapur region and I will work to achieve the goals of TRS and will continue to work under the leadership of KCR and extend all my support to our working president KTR.

I request the media to please confirm before publishing the news and don't spread false news without knowing the ground realities," said the former Minister. The former Minister alleged that a few groups who are against him are spreading the false news.

He said it is the handy work of some opposition leaders who are flinging mud at him and trying to jeopardise the development works in Kollapur constituency. Jupally added that there are a lot of works pending in Kollapur that were initiated during his regime two years back because of election code.

He said he will ensure all those works be completed and make Kollapur a model town. Adding further Jupally said that at present he is focusing on TRS's membership drive in Kollapur. Till
