Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy observed that living in a city with discipline can lead to a clean life.
Kamareddy: Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy observed that living in a city with discipline can lead to a clean life. Participating as a chief guest at Pattana Pragathi programme in Banswada on Friday, he said
"Let's change the urban look."
He said rulers and officials are coming to the public to solve their problems. The municipality is giving six saplings to each house and the residents should plant and take care of them. Suggesting transforming the town as a park, he urged the people to maintain their surroundings hygienic and clean.
The Speaker warned the people that municipal authorities will impose a fine of Rs 500 on those, who through garbage on road. Every household should be provided with clean drinking water to protect the health of the people, he directed the officials.
District Collector Dr Sharath, Municipal Chairman Gangadhar, ward members, councillors and others were present on the occasion.
