Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday asked the irrigation officials to fill up tanks in Suryapet with Godavari water.
After reviewing the water flow and water supply in Suryapet with Minister Jagdeesh Reddy, the chief minister asked the officials to fill the tanks as there was much availability of water.
The Godavari Water is being diverted to Suryapet for the last 20 days. However, he directed the officials to fill the tanks as many as days as required. The chief minister also asked if there are any repairs to be done for the canals to ensure the smooth flow of water.
