Devarakonda (Nalgonda): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief and party candidate from Nalgonda Lok Sabha constituency N Uttam Kumar Reddy stated that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's statement of playing a key role at the Centre with his 16 MPs was trash and added that KCR and his son KT Rama Rao always come with new promises during every election to cheat people of the State for their political existence.

On Sunday, along with Nalgonda ZP chairman Balu Naik, he carried out poll campaign in Neredugommu, Chandampeta and Devarakonda mandals of Devarakonda constituency.

Addressing the people, Uttam said both the state and country have witnessed development under Congress regime.

"AICC chief Rahul Gandhi's aid of Rs 6,000 per month to 5 crore poor families under NYAY scheme will help them lead a comfortable life," the TPCC president said.

Stating that Congress provided reservation to Scheduled Tribes, Uttam informed that development of the country was possible only through people's-friendly Congress party and exuded confidence that country would witness rapid progress under Rahul Gandhi's rule.

He urged the party workers to promote Congress manifesto in the public to secure their support for the upcoming Parliament elections.

He listed out the failures of TRS government and KCR's association with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He reiterated that his rival TRS candidate, Vemireddy Narsimha Reddy, does not know the boundaries of Nalgonda MP constituency and 'ABC' of politics and urged the people of Nalgonda MP territorial to support Congress in the interest of the nation.

Party local leaders, workers, supporters and villagers took part in the campaign.
