KCR also discussed interlinking of Godavari and Krishna rivers and also appealed to accord national status to any of the projects in Telangana. The chief minister will then hold a meeting with the defence minister Rajnath Singh around 5.30 pm today.
In the early noon, KCR met Union home minister Amit Shah and asked to fulfil the promises made to Telangana in the AP reorganisation act. He also discussed the funds to be released to the state from the centre.
