Khammam: Singareni Collieries Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar received the prestigious "Bharatiya Mahantam Puraskar for the year 2019-20.
The award was presented at the 13 Asian Business and Social Forum conference held at Bankok (Thailand) on Friday night under the auspices of the Asia One magazine.
Asia One magazine, which is published from Thailand, selected SCCL CMD N Sridhar for this award which is given to the most efficient CEOs among the Asian countries in the fields of business, commercial and industry. N Sridhar accepted this award from the chief guests, Ambassador of Morocco Abdelillah Al Hosssni and Ambassador of Maldives Mohammad Jinna at the grand international conference held in Bangkok.
The organisers announced that this award was being given in recognition of his contribution for the record breaking sales, profits and growth rate achieved by the company in the last 5 years. On this occasion an audio visual on the growth of Singareni under the leadership of N Sridhar was shown.
The organisers showered praises on N Sridhar stating that after the formation of Telangana State, under the efficient leadership of N Sridhar Singareni achieved 78 per cent growth in sales, 262 percentage growth in profits, 28 percentage growth in coal transport and 23 percentage growth in coal production and this award is presented to him in recognition of these achievements. Speaking on this occasion after receiving this award N Sridhar said that this award was an international recognition for the collective hard work of Singarenians under the guidance of the State Chief Minister Sri. K.Chandrashekar Rao. He added that work would continue with the same zeal and many more achievements and growth rate would be achieved.
