Khammam: The activists of Students Federation of India, All India Students Federation and Progressive Democratic Students Union staged a protest in front of SR& BGNR college Principal's chamber on Friday. The students raised the slogans against the government alleging it of neglecting students' issues. Speaking on the occasion, the students demanded the government to stop the cancellation of PG courses in the college from this academic year.
They said a large number of students would be at loss if the PG courses were cancelled. They appealed to the government to continue the said courses. Later, the students submitted a memorandum to college Principal.
In the protest, AISF district president Ch Ramesh, vice-president B Ashok, leaders B Hemanth, Gayatri, Praveen and Pravallika, PDSU leaders Raju, Narendra, Venkateswarlu and Anil and SFI leaders Madhu, Subhani, Vijay, Naresh, Venkatachary, J Ramakrishna, Ishwarya, Charitha and others took part.
