Kothagudem: District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini directed the Tahsildars to immediately respond to the applications filed through the Nivedana app.

On Thursday, he conducted a meeting with the Tahsildars at the Collectorate in Kothagudem. Addressing the officials, the Collector asked them to create awareness about the app and its working to the people living in villages and added that every Tahsildar should try to solve the issues in a stipulated time.

The Collector also reviewed Kalyana Lakshmi, double bedroom houses, land acquisition and others welfare schemes mandal-wise during the meeting. Suggesting the officials concerned to carry out field visits before allotting the 2BHKs, the Collector ordered them to allot the houses to the poorest of the poor, and only to the tribals in the agency areas.

He also informed that Sub-Collector Tripati has been appointed as the district nodal officer for the inspecting and allotting the double bedroom houses for the poor in the district. Joint Collector K Venkateswarlu, Sub-Collector Bavesh Mishra, Special Officer Tripati, District Revenue Officer Laxman Swamy, Kothagudem Revenue Divisional Officer Swarna Latha and other district officers attended the meeting.
