Large number of Tamilians attend Governor Tamilisai's swearing-in ceremony
Large number of Tamilians attended the swearing in ceremony of Governor of Telangana Tamilisai Soundararajan at Raj Bhavan on Sunday.
Hyderabad: Large number of Tamilians attended the swearing in ceremony of Governor of Telangana Tamilisai Soundararajan at Raj Bhavan on Sunday.
The Telangana Governor's official residence Raj Bhavan was teeming with Tamilians and BJP leaders. Apart from the family members of Tamilisai Soundararajan, there were several other people from Tamil Nadu and Tamilians residing in the city.
Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam and other ministers including Minister for Fisheries and Personnel and Administrative Reforms D Jayakumar, Minister for Electricity, Prohibition and Excise P Thangamani, Minister for Municipal Administration and Rural Development SP Velumani were among the prominent leaders from Tamil Nadu.
Actress Radhika and her husband Sharat, DMDK Treasurer Premalatha Vijayakanth, wife of DMDK president Vijayakanth , VIT ( Vellore Institute of Technology ) vice president GV Selvam and some BJP leaders from Tamil Nadu were among the other guests at the Raj Bhavan.
Large contingent of Tamil media personnel were also at the venue to cover the swearing in ceremony. The media personnel were seen busy taking bytes from the Tamil Nadu Ministers who graced the swearing in ceremony.
