Lightning kills two bovines, burns cattle shed
In an unfortunate incident, two bulls of a farmer in Gauraram village of Bomraspet mandal were killed due to lightning on Wednesday.
Gadwal: In an unfortunate incident, two bulls of a farmer in Gauraram village of Bomraspet mandal were killed due to lightning on Wednesday.
According to eye witnesses, the two bulls of a farmer named Yerrolla Basappa were tied to a tree near their house in Gauraram village.
With the sudden change of weather, heavy winds along with thunderstorm created havoc.
All of a sudden a lightning struck at the spot where the bulls were tied killing them on the spot.
With the two bulls were killed in the lightning, the poor farmer had lost Rs 60,000 worth assets.
He urged the government to provide relief for the unexpected loss.
In another incident in Gadwal, a cattle shed was gutted due to lightening. However there was no loss reported from the incident.
