The three-day Jayanti celebrations of Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy began today amid rituals and chanting of Vedic hymns by the temple priests.
Around 20 rithviks have been invited by the officials for the celebrations to chant the 'moola mantra'.
Special laddus made of jaggery will be introduced from today for the devotees, said Executive Officer Geetha Reddy adding that the value of 100 gm laddu is Rs 25. The laddus will be sold through prasadam counters, the EO said.
