Mahbubnagar: As part of the 30-day action plan programme to ensure all-round development of rural and urban areas in the district, Devarkadra MLA Ala Venkateshwar Reddy distributed tractors to nine gram panchayaties in Bhootpur mandal on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that that never before had any government thought of brining a change in the villages. Earlier, the people in the villages were living a pathetic life with no water, no employment and no development. However, now with the formation of new State of Telangana, each and every village is witnessing real development.

"Our Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has a dream to reform the villages and bring a complete face change. Each and every village will have BT roads connecting the mandal headquarters, internal CC roads, drains in each and every street and ward. As part of the 30-day action plan, now the development will be not a single day affair but it will continue for 365 days in a year. As part of this, the people's representatives in the villages, gram panchayat officials and the general public will work in coordination to find solution for the problems by setting up a 30-day action plan every month. This way development will pick up and every individual in the village will lead a healthy and peaceful live," said the MLA.

Bhootpur Mandal Parishad president Kadire Shekar Reddy, who was also present on the occasion, said that if people can work united then they could achieve wonders and make every village a healthy and resourceful village.

"Agriculture is the basic employment source in villages. Our Chief Minister is working hard to provide irrigation water to each and every acre in the State. Already, large projects like Palamuru Ranga Reddy are on their way and at the same time ongoing projects are on the verge of completion. If everything goes as planned, definitely every village will become wealthy and people will get employment," said Kadire Shekar.

The tractors distributed to the villages will be put in use to lift the household garbage collected from the villages and will dump it in the dump yards every day.
