Mahbubnagar: The RTC employees further intensified their strike across erstwhile Mahbubnagar district on Monday. In Kalwakurthy mandal of Nagarkurnool district, the RTC employees sat in front of the RTC depot and raised slogans against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Later, the striking employees took out a rally in the town and formed a human chain and chanted slogans against the government's adamant attitude towards the RTC employees.

In Wanaparthy district, the RTC employees came out along with their family members holding placards and raising slogans. They demanded that the State government to fulfil their justifiable demands or else they would be forced to intensify their strike.

Even in Achampet mandal of Nagarkurnool district, the RTC employees came on to the roads with their families and staged a protest in front of the RTC depot. A driver of the Achampet depot dressed in KCR attire addressed the striking employees in chief minister's style. The protesters called him Achampet KCR and warned him if he does not heed to their demands then he will have to face serious consequences.

In Gadwal district, the RTC employees strike turned violent as they tried to barge into the bus depot by crossing police barricades. However, the police prevented them from entering the depot. Similar strikes by RTC employees were also witnessed in Mahbubnagar and Narayanpet districts, where the employees formed human chains and participated in Vanta-Varpu programmes.
