Mahbubnagar: With the elections for the post of Chairman and Vice Chairman for the District Central Cooperative Bank (DCCB) and District Cooperative Marketing Society (DCMS) in erstwhile Mahbubnagar district is scheduled to be held February 29, 2020, there has been intense competition and background lobbying going on by all major TRS leaders from both the Parliamentary constituencies of Nagarkurnool and Mahbubnagar district.
In the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district, there are two DCCB and DCMS bodies allocated respectively for Nagarkurnool and Mahbubnagar parliamentary constituencies.
With the nomination process for the election of DCCB and DCMS directors completed recently on Tuesday and majority of them got elected unanimously unopposed, now the lobbying for the Chairman's post has been intensified by all top leaders of TRS party.
As the TRS party has won majority of Primary Agriculture Cooperative credit Societies, the TRS Ministers Singireddy Niranjan Reddy from Wanaparthy, Srinivas Goud from Mahbubnagar and former Minister Dr C Laxma Reddy took part in a meeting in Mahbubnagar and had decided to win the candidates unanimously without any elections.
To this effect, the 10 directors for DCCB and 10 Directors for DCMS under the parliamentary constituencies of Nagarkurnool and Mahbubnagar respectively have been unanimously elected without any elections.
According to TRS party sources, it is said that the ministers have come to an understanding that the Chairman's post for DCCB in Nagarkurnool constituency and DCMS in Mahbubnagar constituency be given to either Reddy or BC communities by weighing the pros and cons to get equal justice for all sections of the society.
As part of this, it is learnt that the DCCB Chairman's post is most likely to be given to Mamullapudi Vishnuvardhan Reddy of Kollapur constituency, who is supported by Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy and the Vice Chairman's post will be given to a person from Achampet mostly likely to Pulkala Manohar, who is supported by Guvvala Balaraj, Achampet MLA.
Similarly, if the DCCB chairman's post goes to Reddy community in Nagarkurnool it is most likely that Srinivas Goud, Minister for Excise and Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan are pitching to filed Subhan a BC candidate from Gadwal for DCMS Chairman's post in Mahbubnagar and vice-a-versa for vice chairman's post.
However, the Excise Minister has also kept a Reddy candidate most likely Patnam Prabhakar Reddy in fray from Balanagar mandal to meet the permutations and combinations for the DCCB and DCMS Chairman's post.
