Adilabad: Officials should work in coordination to make the State tribal festival Nagoba Jatara a grand success, Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) Project Officer Krishna Aditya ordered while addressing a review meeting here on Friday. He visited Nagoba Temple at Keslapur in Adilabad district.

ITDA Project Officer Krishna Aditya said that the temple jatara will be held from January 24 to 31 and told the officials to make it a success. He instructed the rural water supply executive engineer to arrange borewell, OHRS water tank to provide drinking water, toilets and other facilities to avoid inconvenience to the devotees. Like last year, they are expecting devotees to come from neighboring Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh States and ordered the officials concerned to make all necessary arrangements to avoid inconvenience to the devotees during the temple fair.

The PO directed the officials to maintain cleanliness and to provide blueprint of the exhibition, to arrange full-fledged arrangements including parking facility. He also instructed the agency medical officer to set up 24-hour medical camp to provide medical services with ambulance facility. The officials were also told to submit a report on the redressal of complaints received through the complaints cell during Nagoba Durbar last year. He also told them to provide full report of sports, parking, and grounds in Jatara.

The PO told the officials to make arrangements to provide food to police and other staff, who will deliver duties during the jatara. He said that in the evening there will be a number of cultural activities as well as spiritual activities by Ashrama School students. Electricity department officials were told to arrange street lights for the convenience of devotees and others and ordered the officials of all departments to submit a detailed action plan before December 20.

Special officer Dr Gopi, Mandal Revenue Officer Vidyasagar, APO General Kanaka Bheem Rao, Manager Rambabu, land acquisition special officer Chitru, Keslapur Sarpanch Renuka and others were present.
