The other maximum temperatures recorded in the State were: Adilabad & Nizamabad 44 deg C each, Hyderabad & Ramagundam 43 each, Khammam 42 & Mahbubnagar & Nalgonda 42 each, Bhadrachalam 41 & Hanamkonda 40.
The bulletin warned that on May 17, 18 and 19 heat-wave conditions were likely at some parts in most places of all Telangana districts. On Thursday, isolated rain occurred in the State covering 25 per cent of its areas. The day's highest maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius was recorded in Nizamabad.
