To protect RTC drivers and conductors from pollution in Medaram Jatara, the ‘’Satyam’’ volunteer organization has distributed 1,000 masks at RTC bus stand in Kothagudem town on Monday.
Khammam: To protect RTC drivers and conductors from pollution in Medaram Jatara, the ''Satyam'' volunteer organization has distributed 1,000 masks at RTC bus stand in Kothagudem town on Monday.
Local ward counsellor K Dharma Raju, RTC depot manager Harsha and district Medical and Health officials distributed masks to all drivers and conductors who are going to discharge duties in Medaram jatara.
The organisation's founder president P Sanjeeva Rao, secretary Samatha and treasurer Jayakumari said everyday drivers and conductors discharge their duties in highly polluted places in Medaram, considering it we have decided to distribute masks.
District medical and health officer Dr Bhaskar said during Medaram Jatara, the drivers and conductors should not be affected by any disease and the mask would protect them at least from some diseases and pollution.
