Meet Haritha Haram targets, says Collector Lokesh Kumar
District Collector Lokesh Kumar instructed MPDOs to ensure the success of Haritha Haram programme this year. He was speaking at a review meeting held on Haritha Haram, sanitation, NGRS, Asara pensions and toilets at conference hall in Rangareddy collectorate on Thursday.

Addressing MPDOs, Collector said that every department should ensure that the set targets for planting of trees for the year 2019 are achieved. He instructed them to upload the related pictures of planting trees to the relevant website. He ordered the officials to take necessary measures to protect the recently planted trees.
Speaking on sanitation, he instructed the officials to maintain constant supervision to ensure cleanliness. He asked the officials to see that toilet is constructed in every house and ban the use of plastic bags. In view of approaching monsoon season, he emphasized on the measures to be taken to prevent spread of contagious diseases such as Malaria and Dengue. Also, necessary measures to provide drinking water were to be taken.
He instructed the officials to select eligible beneficiaries for receiving Asara pensions. Among those who attended the meeting include ZP CEO Jithender Reddy, DRDA PD Prashant Kumar and others.
