Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Board member visits underground mine in Kothagudem
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) Board department member, Dr Subratha Mythi, has visited Venkatesh Khani (VK No.7 Khani), an underground mine, here in Kothagudem area on Friday.
Kothagudem: The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) Board department member, Dr Subratha Mythi, has visited Venkatesh Khani (VK No.7 Khani), an underground mine, here in Kothagudem area on Friday.
He was welcomed by SCCL General Manager CH Narasimha Rao. During his visit, he examined the mine and its premises and discussed the ways to protect the Khani and its surroundings with the General Manager. Mythi also visited Pragathi Vanam in Rudrampur area. Later, he met the Director of the company B Bhasker Rao.
General Manager Environment Department JVL Ganapathi, Staff Officer Narayana Rao, Area Engineer N Damodher, Manager P Srinivas, Senior Security Officer Srinivas, Executive Engineer Anil, Deputy General Manager Samuel, Deputy Manager Ravi Kiran, VK-7 Khani Safety Officer Ravi Kiran and Forest Manager Hari Haran and others were present during the official's visit.
