Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, he said that very costly furniture was reduced to ashes in the flames.
The principal allayed the fears of parents and told them not to worry over the incident and added that the data of students was safe with them.
He said that according to estimates, Rs 4 lakh worth property was gutted.
