MLA Dr Methuku Anand inaugurated emergency ward in Government Hospital here on Tuesday. Later, he inspected all the wards and enquired patients on the services being rendered to them. He also inspected trees planted during Haritha Haram programme.

He directed officials concerned to take steps to maintain cleanliness. He said, it is only after TRS coming to power dialysis center has been opened in the hospital. "We are trying to make community health center in Area hospital. The proposal will be taken to Health Minister Etala Rajender. Hospital development committee will be constituted soon," he added. Muncipal Chairperson Manjula Ramesh, vice chairperson Shamshad Begum Shareef, councilors, TRS leaders and activists were present.
