MLA G Mahipal Reddy inspects facilities for Bathukamma fete

Patancheru: Arrangements are being made for celebrating the Bathukamma festival as per the Telangana traditions and culture, said local MLA G Mahipal Reddy here on Wednesday, after inspecting the Maitre Maidan and Pocharam Crossroads and the arrangements near the Saki Tank for the festival.

He directed officials to make good arrangements to avoid any hardships to the large number of women who would participate in the festival. The MLA also inspected the national highway near the Pocharam crossroads and directed officials to make sure that there was no water stagnation there. Among those present were GHMC DE Balayya, DE Venkataramana, DE Anjan Kumar, AE Suresh Kumar.
