Montessori students turn green warriors in Bhupalpally
As a part of New Earth Army Contest held in Montessori High School, Bhupallapaly, each student from LKG to Class X were asked to participate in a ‘Plant a Sapling’ drive by planting one sapling in their respective locality along with their family and send the picture to a WhatsApp number.
Bhupalpally: As a part of New Earth Army Contest held in Montessori High School, Bhupallapaly, each student from LKG to Class X were asked to participate in a 'Plant a Sapling' drive by planting one sapling in their respective locality along with their family and send the picture to a WhatsApp number. The response was overwhelming as more than 1200 saplings were planted in and around Bhupalpally.
Montessori Group of School Chairman Jose Nedumthundam said that parents, teachers and students joined their hands with a mission to save and protect earth so that the coming generation has a place to live. "We initially thought of conducting this drive here in the school campus but that would not have reached out to the families. By involving the family of each and every child in this mission, we could successfully spread the awareness and need to conserve the environment to numerous communities that they are a part of," he said.
