Indicates that TRS will work with Jagan on special category Status

Hyderabad: On the penultimate day of campaigning, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao spit fire against his bete noire N Chandrababu Naidu saying that his game was over.

Winding up his campaign for the Lok Sabha elections at Chevella on Monday evening, KCR said that TRS would work with Jaganmohan Reddy. He said Naidu has been criticising him and was even cursing Hyderabad.

"Let me tell you, he has been talking out of frustration as he knows its khel khatam for him. I have the latest survey report Jagan is going to win with huge majority.

In Telangana TRS will win 16 Lok Sabha seats and MIM will get one seat and in AP YSRCP will win 20 Lok Sabha seats. We will support Andhra Pradesh in its demand for special category status," he said.

In another sensational statement, KCR said he never opposed Polavaram project. "Naidu has no intelligence, I have. I know the statistics better." He said even this year 2,600 cusecs of water had gone waste into the Godavari river and we are only demanding our share.

At no point of time did we oppose Polavaram. He further said people of Telangana or TRS has no issue with people of Andhra. People are good our fight is only with few "kirkiri leaders" like Naidu.

Chandrashekar Rao said that Telangana has the policy of live and let live. "We want to be good and also want others to be good. Andhra Pradesh should get special status and this was supported by our secretary-general K Keshava Rao in Rajya Sabha and our MPs in Lok Sabha many times.

We don't have the habit of whispering in ears like you. We don't talk like a 'sannasi' like you. Our Telangana MPs will also support Special Status," he added.

He further said that TRS has been supporting Polavaram project. "We have allocation of 1,000 tmc ft of Godavari water. We never questioned Polavaram... we also support Polavaram as 206 tmc ft of water got wasted in sea.

You don't have the wisdom but we have it. Andhra people are good but there are some 'kirkirigallu' like you there," said KCR.

The TRS chief said that he was happy that both Congress and BJP were copying his schemes.

However, he said that there was a need for qualitative change in the government at the Centre. There is no doubt there will be coalition government at the Centre as BJP would be restricted to 150 and Congress to 100 seats and the regional parties would get big numbers.

Hence, we should have big numbers, he said. Lashing out at the Prime Minister, KCR said, "We don't need worst 'kootneeti' of division of people in the name of religion.

All should get developed... all should get education, health and other basic needs." The chief minister assured the people of Vikarabad of scrapping GO 111 if Chevella candidate G Ranjeet Reddy wins from here.

He also assured to include Vikarabad into the Charminar zone and provide water to 1 lakh acres each in the constituency within two years from Lakshmidevipally reservoir under Palamur project.

The chief minister said that the government would bring new acts in Panchayat Raj, Municipal and Revenue departments to curb rampant corruption. "I am not saying all employees are taking bribes, but a few are doing.

I am getting complaints. One of the citizens, Srinivas sent message to me that he had to give Rs 30,000 as bribe for two times to get his work done and asked me "can't you control?" This had let me down," said KCR.
