NALSAR 17th convocation today
The seventeenth Annual Convocation of the NALSAR University of Law will be held at 11.30 am on Saturday, at Justice City, Shameerpet, Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: The seventeenth Annual Convocation of the NALSAR University of Law will be held at 11.30 am on Saturday, at Justice City, Shameerpet, Hyderabad.
A press release issued by the NALSAR on Friday said that the convocation ceremony will be presided over by Justice Raghavendra S Chouhan, Chief Justice of High Court of Telangana and the Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law.
Eminent Historian and renowned author Ramachandra Guha will deliver the convocation address. On this occasion, eminent scholarly lawyer K K Venugopal, the Attorney General of India, will be conferred LL.D. (Honoris Causa) by the University.
Prof Dr Faizan Mustafa, Vice-Chancellor of the University will present the annual report of the University.
Prof Dr V Balakista Reddy, Registrar of the University will lead the convocation procession. 380 candidates will be awarded degrees and diplomas on this occasion.
49 gold medals will also be given to the respective candidates. Books and Journals will also be released. Honourable Judges of the High Court of Telangana, legal luminaries and other dignitaries will grace the occasion, it said.
