A RTC driver on Thursday alleged that his neighbours committed theft at his residence in Prashanthi Hills under Meerpet police station limits.
Hyderabad: A RTC driver on Thursday alleged that his neighbours committed theft at his residence in Prashanthi Hills under Meerpet police station limits.
According to police, a complaint has been lodged by one G Vijender Reddy (45, RTC driver), in which he stated that on Monday he along with his family left to his native place for celebrating Dasara festival by duly locking the house.
Later, on Thursday when they returned home, they found that some unknown persons gained entry into the house by breaking open the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments weighing of 3.5 tolas and net cash of Rs 6,000.
Later, he came to know that his neighbours P Surender Reddy and B Padma were the offenders who allegedly stole the property. On receipt of the complaint police registered a case and took up investigation.
