A Casualty Medical Officer (CMO) was allegedly attacked by patient's relatives late on Sunday night for delaying treatment
The patient Sri Nikhil, who was admitted to the hospital was attended by Dr Anvesh who is learned to have completed all the required tests including CT scan and other tests in an hour of admission, according to the resident doctors of NIMS.
The patient's relatives were in an inebriated state when they attacked the doctor demanding that the reports of CT scan be given quickly, said a senior doctor.
About 15 days ago, a patient's relative entered the resident doctors' hostel premises and attacked a doctor.
