Officials told to supply drinking water under Mission Bhagiratha project in Jagtial
District Collector Dr A Sharath on Tuesday ordered the officials concerned to take necessary steps for supplying pure drinking water through taps to all villages under Mission Bhagiratha project.
Jagtial: District Collector Dr A Sharath on Tuesday ordered the officials concerned to take necessary steps for supplying pure drinking water through taps to all villages under Mission Bhagiratha project.
He held a meeting with the officials of irrigation and engineering departments to discuss on the progress of Mission Bhagiratha project works at the Collectorate conference Hall in Jagtial.
Speaking at the meeting, the Collector ordered the end officials to supply bulk water to the old and new water tanks existing in all mandals across the district. He told the officials to take necessary precautionary methods to prevent the leakages if they find any in water tanks present in the mandals.
After completing the pending works of road repairing and laying of pipe line works, take signatures from village sarpanch, ward member and village secretary and submit the same to the authority concerned, Sharath ordered.
Mission Bhagiratha Project executive engineers, rural water supply department executive engineers and assistant engineers were present along with others in the meeting.
