Paddy farmers told to avail of support price

Siddipet: ZP Chairperson V Roja Sharma on Thursday called upon farmers to sell their produce at paddy procurement centre to avail of the support price. She explained the precautions to be followed while bringing paddy to the centers.
She asked them to bring paddy in tarpaulin covers to protect it from getting wet in case of rains. She said there are 53 centers under Primary Agriculture Cooperative societies and 96 centers under Kranthi scheme.
ZP Vice-Chairman Raja Reddy, District Agriculture Officer Sravan Kumar, ZP CEO Sravan Kumar, fisheries department official Venkaiah and others were present on the occasion.
