Parents of kids studying in Kasturba School stage road blockade in Huzurnagar
Girls students of Kasturba Gandhi School of Chintalapalem of Huzurnagar constituency have been suffering due to lack of basic facilities in the school.
Huzurnagar (Suryapet): Girls students of Kasturba Gandhi School of Chintalapalem of Huzurnagar constituency have been suffering due to lack of basic facilities in the school.
The school was sanctioned to the newly-formed Chintalapalem mandal and the officials built the school on the premises of primary school located at Vellatur of Meelacheruvu mandal in the constituency due to non-availability of suitable place at Chintalapalem.
For the 166 students, studying from Class 6 to 9, in the school, the officials allocated four rooms. Further, the students are forced to use the two washrooms of primary school.
Meanwhile, parents of the girl students expressing their concern over poor facilities in the Kasturba School conducted a road blockade at Huzurnagar road and demanded the officials concerned to address the issues of students immediately.
