A large number of devotees attended the programme and offered special pujas. Earlier in the day, the priests conducted special pujas in the main temple.
Later, the celestial wedding was performed, after which the Pattabhishekam was conducted on a grand note. Speaking on the occasion, chief priest of the temple Vijay Raghavan said on account of Pushyami Nakshatram, the Pattabhishekam programme was conducted here on temple premises.
