People urged to construct IHLs in Mahbubnagar
Collector takes part in Swachh Bharat, books distribution programme
Mahbubnagar: District Collector Ronald Rose took part in the Swachh Bharat programme at Boinpally village of Midjil mandal on Friday. Later, he visited the Mandal Parishad High School in Indiranagar Colony in Jadcherla and distributed books to school students sponsored by an NGO Ananth Venkatram Reddy Seva Samithi.
Speaking on the occasion, the District Collector said, "State government is providing all necessary facilities in government schools and the students must utilise them."
Earlier, the Collector, who participated in the Swachh Bharat programme urged people to construct Individual household Latrines (IHHLs) for which the State and Central governments were providing financial aid. He said by keeping the surroundings clean and green, people can lead a healthy life and keep the diseases at bay.
