People's help sought for rural development

Patancheru: Sarpanch Mannur Lakshman on Saturday sought public cooperation to unitedly develop rural areas. Addressing a 'gram sabha' in Patancheru mandal, he said development of villages should take place without any political considerations. "It is everyone's responsibility to protect the environment," he said, while noting that the local government school was on the verge of collapse.

Laksham asserted that the new building would be constructed with the cooperation of local MLA. He declared that the village would be developed as a model gram panchayat. "Let us spend more funds for development of the village," he stressed.
