A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed against temporary RTC drivers on Monday in the High Court. Advocate Gopalakrishna who filed the plea saying that the temporary RTC drivers must be given 90-day training before they operate the buses.

Dealing with the petition, the court directed the Telangana government and TSRTC to submit a report in four weeks.

Meanwhile, the court also heard the plea of RTC employees' salaries for September month. The TSRTC counsel appealed to the court to provide some time for hearing the arguments. Stating it is the last chance for the TSRTC, the court adjourned the petition to Wednesday.

On the other hand, the TSRTC employees intensified the stir with continuing protests across the state. It is a known fact that the RTC JAC withdrew their merger of RTC with government demand and asked the government to allow the employees to resume duties. However, no response from the government is made yet.
