Plantation drive on 8-km stretch of highway begins in Peddapalli

Peddapalli: Ramagundam Fertilizer Company Limited (RFCL) embarked on planting of saplings on 8-kms Rajiv Gandhi Rahadari with the active participation of the company officials, MLA and people in the district on Saturday.

Peddapalli MLA Dasari Manohar Reddy participated in the massive avenue plantation drive along Rajiv Rahadari over 8 kms conducted by RFCL under Haritha Haram programme and planted a sapling.

Speaking on the occasion, Manohar Reddy appreciated the representatives of RFCL for planting of saplings from Andhugullapalli to eight kilometers over Rajiv Rahadari, the national highway.

He also suggested them that along with planting the saplings, they must also take care of them by arranging necessary tree guards and watering them regularly along with dividing the distance into stretches. He also suggested them of appointing one official to look after the saplings for creating pleasant atmosphere in the days to come.

RFCL CEO Neerlap Singh, Chief Manager Rajan Tappar, HR Manager Somanath Sanka, Divisional General Manager M Bangar and other officials were present on the occasion.
