Hyderabad: The Special Operation Team (SOT) of Malkajgiri zone on Thursday night organised decoy operation under Neredmet Police Station limits on a brothel house and nabbed a woman organiser, four punters and rescued four victims.

Police also seized net cash of Rs 6,580, four mobile phones from the possession of the accused. The accused were identified as Raziya Khatoon (35), Shaik Sirajuddin (53, absconding), Shaik Shareef (33), Abdul Sarbar (32), Vithal Balraj (24) and Mohammed Shareef (38).

According to officials, the organisers Raziya Khatoon and Shaik Sirajuddin are wife and husband natives of Kolkata, West Bengal.

They came to Hyderabad with a plan to organise brothel house and resided at Neredmet.

During interrogation Raziya Khatoon confessed that they are running the brothel house for the past couple of months by procuring female sex workers/victims from various parts of the country mainly from West Bengal and paying meagre amount to them.

Police registered a case under sections 370 and 370(A) IPC and 3, 4 and 5 of PITA act. The organisers, customers and rescued victims were produced before the court.
