Police sensitise people through loudspeakers
The police have adopted a different way to sensitise people to prevent crimes in the town. They started awareness campaign with a loudspeaker and auto-rickshaw.
Vikarabad: The police have adopted a different way to sensitise people to prevent crimes in the town. They started awareness campaign with a loudspeaker and auto-rickshaw. Like street vendors and municipality announcers, the cops are also on the mission of listing out the do's and don'ts.
They initiated the programme in the wake of Dasera holidays. People usually plan tours during the vacation. Police personnel are roaming streets and announcing through loudspeakers about precautions like, place your footwear in front of doors so that thieves may think that you are inside.
Their instructions are like; Put on the light while you are on tour, don't keep valuables in home, inform us if you are locking your house etc. They are signing off after greeting 'Happy Dasera'.
