Nagarjuanasagar (Nalgonda): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief and party Nalgonda MP candidate N Uttam Kumar Reddy exemplifying the winning of opposition parties candidates victory in MLC election through ballot system, has once again expressed his doubt over the functioning of Electronic Voting Machines.

On Wednesday, along with party senior leader K Jana Reddy, he participated in party workers meeting held at Tripuraram and Halia mandal of Nagarjunasagar constituency in the district.

Addressing the party workers, he wondered that his party leader Jeevan Reddy lost his election from Jagitial seat in Assembly elections conducted through EVMs, was able to win the Graduates' MLC seat from Karminagar conducted through ballot system.

He expressed his doubt that the party senior leader K Jana Reddy who won the election seven times from Sagar constituency was defeated by manipulation of EVMs.

He called upon the intellectuals to make review of election results conducted through EVMs and ballot system.

Stating that teachers and intellectuals have rejected TRS in MLC elections covered in 42 Assembly constituencies in the State, Uttam predicted the same MLC election results in upcoming Parliament elections.

He listed out TRS government failures in the last five years and emphasised on the need to support Congress candidates in the upcoming Parliament elections in the interest of the State and the nation.
