Tandur: Renowned educationalist of the town and President award recipient Ramchander breathed his last in a private hospital in Hyderabad on early hours of Thursday. The retired headmaster received prestigious national award from the hands of the then President of India APJ Abdul Kalam.
He also received state and district level awards for his contribution in the field of education. Teacher and students' unions expressed their grief over the demise of the teacher. PRTU state leader Kishan Rao said Ramachander was always tried to solve the issues of teachers. His students are now in greater positions, he added.
