Nizamabad: Revenue employees protested on Thursday with deceased tahsildhar Giridhar's dead body at the district Collectorate on Thursday. When the postmortem was completed at the government hospital, the government employees took out a rally to the Collectorate. The furious employees shouted slogans against the State government.

One employee, however, alleged that a suicidal note was being kept in a pocket and questioned whether it is a gift from a Telangana employee.

The employee was furious that the man with the suicide note was a disciple of Deviprasad. Nizamabad MP Arvind said the suicide is a murder by the State government. The opposition wants to come to the fore to protect the employees. Arvind said the temporary transfers during the election and not sending the employees back home immediately after the elections are over is simply a case of harassment. One employee on condition of anonymity alleged that the Andhra region's HoDs are now harassing Telangana employees who took active part in the Telangana Movement.

He said that there was more harassment in the State Economic Statistical Department and in the Women and Child Welfare Department.

Another employee said during the Telangana Movement who fought for Telangana committed suicide. He said it is painful for the same fighters to commit suicide even after Telangana State came into existence. He said suicides may change the government's attitude.
